Find open shifts, clock in and out, and get shift alerts, all in one place.

Who can use BadgeTime

You need an approved officer account to use the app.

  • New to BadgeTime? Download the app, tap Officer Sign Up, and fill out the Officer Application. Your application is reviewed before you can work shifts.
  • Already have an account? Log in with your email and password.

What you can do

Clock in and out

Tap Clock In when you get to the job site and Clock Out when you are done. Add notes during your shift and read the jobsite notes. Lost signal? BadgeTime saves your clock-in and clock-out and sends them when you are back online.

Find open shifts

Open Available Shifts to see open shifts near you. Filter by time of day and distance. Tap Accept Shift to take one. If staff need to approve you first, tap Apply for Review.

Your schedule

See your upcoming shifts and your past 30 days. Confirm your shifts, and save your past shifts as an Excel or PDF file.

Can't make a shift?

Tap Give up shift to post it in Available Shifts for another officer. Changed your mind? Tap Take it back before someone picks it up.

Alerts

Get shift reminders, new shift assignments and other updates.

Report or ask

Tap Report / Ask to send an incident report or a question. You can add photos.

Your profile

Keep your contact details and emergency contact up to date. Add your licenses and certificates. See estimated hours and pay in Jobs & earnings.

About pay

Pay shown in BadgeTime is an estimate. Your hours can still change when they are reviewed.

About your location

BadgeTime uses your location to confirm you are at the job site. It checks when you clock in and out, and during your shift. While you are clocked in, this keeps working even when the app is closed. It stops when you clock out.

BadgeTime also uses your location while the app is open to show open shifts near you.
